can you see him yet?

There has been so much snow it is over my garden beds. The garden looks flooded with in three feet of snow. Today it rained, poured even. The snow is so heavy with moisture it is no longer white but a pretty tone of blue. I love being out in the country where the
snow is so clean, the air so fresh and quiet. Good thing I don’t have to drive anywhere in this slush.
It is the dead of winter now, snowing, cold, and dark more than day. Snow, like heavy shiny white meringue, pillows over the frozen ground like a welcome blanket. We are in the eye of the storm as we hibernate tonight in our mountain home, we can savor this peace, knowing it will be gone with the snow.
