How to Be Free - Are you a prisoner to life? Want to be free?

Are you a prisoner to life? Want to be free?
I used my brain to live life - logically smart like taught – the ego let me know exactly where to go, what to know, to make me perfect – what I must do, have, say, buy, and need - who I must blame, fight, judge, grudge, hate - relentlessly, ruthlessly, replaying the past and dreading the future –  a child’s tantrum controlled every move - it cried for scorn and suffering – whipping tirelessly with worry, fear and guilt - justifiably, predictably, incessantly – I was a slave for its bidding - shackled and bound to a neverending rut of dissatisfaction . . . .
One day I could do stand it no longer – I know abuse when I see it, I refused to listen, I refused to hear, not one word did I let rear – Silence, finally everything was perfect, sigh, no judgement, no mistake, no regret, nothing to fret – Could it get better yet?
Alone with the quiet, wasn’t to be -  I heard another voice and she was me - the one that won’t hide and is always along for the ride, shotgun besides, we’re gonna glide –she’s light for the space, dances and sings - no ties, no lies maybe even no dies – I like her better, she is no tether, all storms together, what a pleasure - Breathe she said, everything is going to be alright – I knew her right away,  she’s always come to play, to share, dare, and bare – inspiration, creativity are her perfume – satisfaction is her smile, gratitude and joy are her embrace, and freedom her kingdom . . .
Freedom - There it is, it is always there - Don’t forget now - Now you know
Your first breath of freedom - Oh, you didn’t breathe? You don’t believe you are free?
Is it ego or spirit telling you what to do? - Don’t give in to the silly tantrum of negativity -
Hear instead the music playing in the background - Mmm yes I can hear it, yes, a sweet melody -
Now the epic can begin, you are the hero, adventures abound - don’t listen to anyone, not even me -
Listen only to thee to be

Oregano Oil - Must Have on for SHTF and Homestead

Oil of oregano helps inhibit (and sometimes kill) ninety (90) different types of detrimental bacteria, fungi, parasites, protozoa, yeasts, and molds, such as:
  • Aspergillus (flavus and parasiticus)
  • Bacillus cereus
  • Blastocystis hominis
  • Candida albicans
  • Cryptococcus neoformans (an opportunistic fungus affecting the AIDS patients)
  • Endolimax nana
  • E. Coli (Escherichia coli)
  • Entamoeba hartmanni
  • Giardia lamblia (the cause of Giardiasis)
  • Klebsiella pneumoniae
  • Listeria monocytogenes (commonly called Listeria)
  • Mycobacterium paratuberculosis
  • Proteus (mirabilis, vulgaris)
  • Pseudomonas aeruginosa*
  • Salmonella enterica (Gram-negative bacterium)
  • Staphylococcus aureus (responsible for "Golden Staph")
  • Streptococcus pneumoniae ("Strep").
* PLEASE NOTEPseudomonas aeruginosa is a common bacterium found in soil, water, skin flora and most man-made environments. An opportunistic pathogen of immunocompromised individuals vulnerable to infections, it typically infects the pulmonary tract, urinary tract, burns, wounds, and also causes other blood infections.
P. aeruginosa is the third leading cause of hospital-acquired urinary tract infections, accounting for approximately 12 percent of all infections of this type. They are usually related to urinary tract catheterization, instrumentation or surgery.
It is a common cause of post-operative infection in radial keratotomy (RK) eye surgery patients and of "hot-tub rash" (dermatitis), caused by lack of proper periodic attention to water quality.
P. aeruginosa appears to be among the most adherent of common urinary pathogens to the bladder uroepithelium. An infection can occur via an ascending or descending route.
P. aeruginosa can also invade the bloodstream from the urinary tract. This route is the source of approximately 40 percent of P. aeruginosa infections.
P. aeruginosa can cause chronic opportunistic infections. These kinds of infections are a serious problem for medical care. Many patients, immunocompromised and the elderly in particular, often cannot be treated effectively with traditional antibiotic therapy.
As a highly relevant opportunistic pathogen, P. aeruginosa has low antibiotic susceptibility. It is naturally resistant to a large range of antibiotics and may demonstrate additional resistance after unsuccessful treatment.

Free Food Lettuce in a Bag

you could be eating your own lettuce right now - get a bag of poo, you can buy it at the hardware store, any poo will do, i think mushroom compost is the best dollar spent - no not potting soil, nothing will grow in potting soil - at home set it up so the bag is at ledge level with the sunniest window in the house - it is ugly, but it will not smell, keep cats out of it too - cut the bag open so it forms a container that will hold the water - water the bag slowly, until just saturated - sprinkle a mesclun lettuce mix on top by putting the seeds in one hand and pinching some to spread evenly across the compost - this can include arugula, kale, various leaf lettuces, chard, chives, parsley - rotate the bag once a day so it all gets even light and water until satuated once a week - most of these little plants will grow to eating size within 2 weeks, if you can wait until 3 weeks you can give the whole bag a "haircut", leaving about an inch of plant still growing - these plants will regenerate enough in 2 weeks to repeat the process - this can go on until spring and beyond - for example some of the plants in the mix can be transplanted outside in the spring for continued food and seed production - peace

Homestead Peace

I am fiercely moving my life through time to satisfy a covenant to create heaven on earth. Caught in the rapture of nature's powerful forces as they dictate what is to be done each day. Each day secret silent blessings, each day secret silent losses, lessons learned and taught, quietly filling me with joy.

I used to pray to have my way. Now I only pray to be shown the way. No thought of what others think, no attachment to how things look, no mandate for the future. Total submission to trust good will prevail and everything is always as it should be is the key.

It has been 20 years now.
With nothing but each other, we left the other world behind us. Not one day without what we needed, not one day without suffering a little, not one day life didn't have meaning.
Everyone could live like this. Nature takes care of us, it is the natural order of things.

Homestead Time

How are we to survive?  We are going to expose the secrets and lies that are making us no more than creatures for consumption.  I am so happy to be able to reveal these things to you.

Time is not the same as in the consumer world, corrupted by greed and deafened by suffering.  Dollar per hour is just a formula for slavery.  If a homesteader got paid minimum wage for their labour they would be rich people.  Homeseading is not a way to make money.  In fact it costs money to set up and maintain.

The trade off is, the amount of money you save freely by your labour and frugality and the opportunities that open from you being available.   Fresh organic food, exercise, life outdoors, quiet time in nature, having time to do what you want, free from the shackles of time restraints you also add quality to your life.  It is the ultimate of self employment.

Today I caught a big dog on my place, I scared him off, easily done, in that moment I was available. But this year I also lost my best milker to a cougar, I
was away selling at a market, in that moment years of investment and return were lost.  Money per hour means nothing.

Homesteading has a component rarely spoke of out loud.  It is the quality of life you gain with the experience.  There is a silence in the planning, in the work, a focusing that allows the mind to tap into the power of creation.  We feel it and know that our efforts are aligned to our proper place here. Time disappears like in a great novel, song or drawing and the magic flows through us.
